A registered lender, run from Pretoria.

SRL Financial Services (Pty) Ltd is a South African credit provider registered with the National Credit Regulator under NCRCP22601.

Who we are

Credit should be simple, transparent and responsible.

SRL Financial Services (Pty) Ltd is a registered South African credit provider offering online short-term loans from R500 to R5 000, with repayment terms between 30 and 155 days. Applications are made online by anyone with a valid South African ID or passport and confirmed income, and approved loans are paid directly into the applicant's bank account.

We were established in 2025 and specialise in personal and emergency lending. In a short time we have built a reputation for being fast, flexible and open about what a loan actually costs — which, in this industry, is rarer than it should be.

Our purpose is straightforward: to give people the financial support they need to handle what life puts in front of them. Whether that's an emergency, an unexpected bill, or the working capital for a side hustle, we're here to help you bridge the gap — and to be honest with you about the price of doing so.

What drives us

Mission and vision

Our mission

To deliver fair and accessible credit that drives financial stability and growth for all our clients.

Our vision

To lead the financial services industry with integrity, innovation, and a commitment to putting clients at the heart of everything we do.

Responsible lending

What being NCR-registered actually means for you.

Capped charges

Our initiation fee, service fee and interest rate all sit at or below the ceilings set by the National Credit Act. We cannot legally charge more, and we don't add fees outside that list.

Affordability assessment

Before approving any loan we assess whether you can realistically afford the repayment. Sometimes that means offering you less than you asked for, or declining.

Written pre-agreement

You receive the full cost of credit in writing before you sign anything, and you are free to walk away at that point.

Your data is protected

Documents you upload are stored securely and used only to assess your application, in line with POPIA.

Talk to us early

If you're heading for a missed repayment, contact us before the due date. An arrangement costs you far less than a default.

You have recourse

If we get something wrong, you may lodge a complaint with the National Credit Regulator or the National Credit Ombud.

Questions

Frequently asked

How do I get a loan?

You can apply directly on our website. Choose your loan type, complete the quick online application, and submit your details and documents. Once your information is verified and your application approved, your loan is paid directly into your bank account — often on the same day.

What do I need to apply?

A valid South African ID or passport, proof of income in the form of your two latest payslips, three months of bank statements, an active South African bank account, and a working cellphone number and email address.

What is DebiCheck?

DebiCheck is a secure debit order system used by South African banks to confirm loan repayments directly with you. It ensures that you are fully aware of the debit amount, the date and the lender — protecting you from unauthorised deductions.

When is my loan due?

It depends on the product. An emergency loan is repaid in a single instalment on your next payday. A personal micro-loan is repaid monthly according to the schedule set out in your loan agreement, on dates aligned with your salary date.

When will I get my money?

Once approved, your loan is paid out within the same business day, depending on your bank. In many cases funds reflect within a few hours.

What if I pay my loan late?

Late payments may result in additional charges and can affect your credit record. If you're struggling to make a payment, contact our team before the due date so we can discuss an alternative arrangement.

Is SRL Financial Services legitimate?

We are registered with the National Credit Regulator under NCRCP22601, with company registration number 2025/566508/07, and we follow the National Credit Act in our lending practices.
